Your retirement requires more than a number...

Most retirement advice starts with a number. But a number can’t tell you who you want to be when the alarm clock stops. Retirement is an identity change, not just a financial one. In this course, we address the whole person – not just the financial questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

1 / How much time will I need each week?

Plan to attend or watch the recording of the live session each week for one hour and then spend about 2 hours working on exercises and your own reflections. You may certainly choose to spend more time so please assume the two hours is a minimum.

2 / Are the class meetings recorded?

Yes, with a caveat. In order to create a safe space with participants, anyone may, at any time, ask that we stop recording or ask that I edit something out of a recording. So, recorded sessions may be edited to protect confidentiality and participant safety.

3 / Do I need to be close to retiring?

No! It’s never too early to begin thinking about financial independence and what that stage of life looks like. Having a plan for financial independence that allows you to leave traditional work can happen at all ages.

4 / Does this course provide tax, legal, insurance, medical or financial advice?

No. This course is offered for educational purposes only. The course is designed to support you in working more effectively with professionals in these fields. We will discuss things such as factors to consider when selecting a professional in these areas and how to advocate for yourself with these professionals. However, nothing on this website or in this course should be construed as financial, insurance, tax, medical, or legal advice. You are responsible for acting on this information in partnership with appropriately credentialed individuals in each of these areas.

5 / Do you offer a refund policy?

Yes. If you attend/watch the first two weeks and log in at least two times to the online class site and then decide this is not for you, I will refund your class fee in full. Otherwise, no refunds are offered.
