Week 32 - Aug 2 - 8, 2026 - Now

It's a big week around here. From Sunday - Wednesday, I'm attending the School for Congregational Development in Columbus, Ohio. I have dual roles here. I'm a lay leader in my local church, but I'm here specifically because I am also working with the Indiana United Methodist Conference to build an online resource hub for them. And, BONUS!!!, since I'll be driving right through Richmond, Kona will get delivered right to Grandpa and Aunt Susie's house where he'll stay while I'm in Columbus. I'll pick him up on my way back through on Wednesday.

While that's fun and all, my big excitement is that I'm launching the first cohort of Off The Clock, On Purpose. As of Saturday night before launch, I have 12 people signed up!! I'm truly thrilled to launch this learning experience and to really begin to nurture it as it grows. I also start four new Purdue Global class sections this week!

And, finally, Gayle and I are finally going to see the new Spiderman on Friday afternoon!!! My instagram algorithm is completely flooded with Tom and Zendaya posts as they've gone on this whirlwind second press tour (in combination with The Odyssey).
